Of course it did.
A golden deer. A group of friends.
Far too much competitive spirit.
In 2024, the Kasteelvrienden turned their golden deer—the group’s blazoen—into the prize for an annual competition. A perfectly reasonable idea. Depending on who you ask.
Now, every summer brings another chance to claim it. Across a mix of challenges, friendships are tested, rivalries renewed, and stories added to the collection.
The winner takes the deer home for a year. The bragging rights tend to last a little longer.

The friends gather every summer for another edition. Weather is no excuse when the Golden Deer is at stake.
02Many challenges. Every point counts.
Points are earned across a mix of challenges, from trivia and physical feats to a little pure luck. There is more than one way to make your mark.
03New challengers. Same rivalry.
New challengers are welcome. Veterans get no special treatment: everyone has to earn their place in the hall of champions.
04One winner takes the deer.
The highest total score wins. The champion takes the Golden Deer home for a full year of glory, proud display, and reminding everyone who won.
